The Timor-Leste v. Australia case in the International Court of Justice was officially discontinued on 11 June 2015. East Timor has stated it will resume its principal arbitration against Australia, challenging the validity of the billion dollar gas and oil Treaty on Certain Maritime Arrangements in the Timor Sea (CMATS) which governs their respective interests in the Joint Development Area, including the Greater Sunrise fields.

On 23 June 2015, the Senate passed the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Amendment Bill (Cth) 2015. This confirms the bipartisan deal agreed to last month to reduce Australia's renewable energy target from 41,000 gigawatt hours (GWh) to an additional 33,000 GWh by 2020.

On 14 June 2015, the Hungarian Parliament adopted an amendment to Act XLVIII of 2008 on Advertisement (Advertising Act). The new legislation sets out new rules applicable to advertising agencies and sales houses as well. Special restrictions apply also to advertising service providers.
