Cairo, Egypt, 11 April 2012- Helmy, Hamza & Partners Members of Baker & McKenzie International won a complicated and challenging case on behalf of Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. ("Sanyo) in connection with a trademark and trade name infringement against Sanyo Misr.
A judgment has been issued in favor of Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. stating that Sanyo Misr is not entitled to use Sanyo trademark in its name and ordering Sanyo Misr to pay EGP300,000 to Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd.as compensation for unfair trade.
Helmy, Hamza & Partners managed to reach this outstanding result after a long and fierce battle!
