Eric Lasry Elected Managing Partner of Baker & McKenzie Paris

Paris, France, 21 May 2012 – Eric Lasry has been elected Managing Partner of Baker & McKenzie Paris office, effective 1 July 2012, for two years. He takes over from Régis Fabre, Managing Partner since 2008.
Eric Lasry began his career at Baker & McKenzie in Paris in 1985 as an M&A lawyer. In 1989, he joined the Chicago office and became a Partner in 1993, heading the Franco-American M&A practice. Following his return to Paris in 1997, he became head of M&A for France. He was Managing Partner of the office in 1999 and in 2003. Between 2004 and 2009, he was a member of Baker & McKenzie's Executive Committee and Chairman of the firm's European Regional Council, composed of the management of the firm's offices across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
