Veteran Global Energy Projects Attorney Mona Dajani Joins Baker & McKenzie

Chicago, USA, December 5, 2011 – Mona E. Dajani has joined Baker & McKenzie in its Chicago office, further enhancing the Firm’s extensive capabilities in handling global energy and infrastructure projects.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Dajani has represented a broad spectrum of energy, clean technology and infrastructure clients, including project developers, lenders, utilities, investment banks, infrastructure funds, private equity firms, hedge funds, venture capital firms and multinational companies in transactions across the globe.
She is well experienced in handling financing and development matters for large-scale energy projects, electric power plants (fossil fueled and renewable), oil and gas pipelines, liquefied natural gas terminals, transmission lines and industrial facilities. Ms. Dajani also has substantial experience in public-private partnerships, privatization of infrastructure, equipment finance and leasing, asset acquisitions and divestitures, joint venture formation and project financing both in the U.S. and abroad.
In addition, Ms. Dajani’s experience includes investment, financial and monetization transactions as well as the commercial agreements that energy businesses rely upon for revenue generation. She has assisted project sponsors and foreign governments in promoting and structuring the privatization and development of independent electric power sectors.
