Daily Journal Recognizes Diamond as One of Top Women Lawyers in California

San Francisco/Palo Alto, USA, May 16, 2012 – Partner Valerie H. Diamond was selected by The Daily Journal, a leading legal publication serving both Northern and Southern California, as one of the state's top women lawyers. The editors of The Daily Journal considered hundreds of lawyers for this annual list, which was published on May 9, 2012. The list honors 100 women lawyers who have demonstrated "excellent lawyering and leadership skills," and includes 75 litigators and only 25 corporate/transactional lawyers like Ms. Diamond.
According to the publication, Ms. Diamond's "expertise is in high demand" as she is "one of the few attorneys who can call herself an expert" in the global equity field. The newspaper highlighted her recent work which included helping Groupon and Splunk through their IPO and assisting eBay with their equity award issues following a recent acquisition.
In addition to this prestigious selection by The Daily Journal, Ms. Diamond was recently named one of the "Top 75 Women Corporate and Transactional Lawyers" by the same publication, as well as recognition by Legal 500 US and Chambers USA.
