Baker & McKenzie Represents CaixaBank, S.A. in USD24.7 Million Loan for ACS Infrastructure Canada, Inc.

Chicago, USA, July 24, 2012 – Baker & McKenzie represented CaixaBank, S.A., a Spain-based integrated financial group as sole lender, in the financing of ACS Infrastructure Canada Inc. as borrower, in a USD24.7 million term loan credit facility.
Based in Toronto, Canada, ACS is a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of ACS Actividades de Construccion y Servicios, S.A. (ACS Actividades) and indirectly owns a 50% interest in Nouvelle Autoroute 30, s.e.nc. (NA30), a general partnership formed for the purposes of completing the A-30 highway project located in South-West Montreal, Canada. The financing proceeds provided by CaixaBank were used for the purpose of enabling ACS to fund an equity contribution to NA30 and the financing was supported by two parent company guarantees issued by Dragados, S.A. and ACS Servicios y Concesiones, SL, both subsidiaries of ACS Actividades.
