Baker & McKenzie Advises Solarhybrid on Purchase of Solar Power Projects in the US

Global, 6 October, 2011 - Baker & McKenzie advised Solarhybrid AG in Brilon, a specialist in the construction of photovoltaic (PV) power plants, on the potential purchase of project companies with a pipeline of 2.25 GWp capacity (2,250 MWp) by Solarhybrid AG from Solar Millennium AG. One of its projects is the Blythe in California which is meant to be the largest solar project in the world. The conditional contractual agreements which are subject to finalization of advanced due diligence are expected to be completed by the end of October. The companies have agreed to refrain from disclosing details of the transaction.
