Baker & McKenzie Advises NTT Communications on Acquisition of Frontline Systems

Sydney, Australia, 23 May 2011 – Baker & McKenzie advised Japanese company NTT Communications on the acquisition of a 70% stake in Australian company Frontline Systems.
NTT Communications provides global networks, management solutions and information technology services to customers across the globe. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, one of the world's largest telecommunications companies with listings on the Tokyo, London and New York stock exchanges.
Frontline Systems provides IT infrastructure, IT consulting and managed services.
Baker & McKenzie's team was led by Sydney M&A Partner Ben McLaughlin and assisted by Senior Associates Kate Jefferson and Fumiko Niimura, with IT/Telecommunications Partner Patrick Fair.
Commenting on the transaction, Ben McLaughlin, who actively advises Japanese clients on M&A investment into Australia, said, "We are very pleased to advise NTT Communications on its outbound investment into Australia.
