Baker & McKenzie Advises Davis Langdon Shareholders on Sale to Aecom Technology Corporation

Sydney, Australia, 9 August 2010 – Baker & McKenzie acted for the shareholders of Davis Langdon in Australia and New Zealand on the company's sale to AECOM Technology Corporation for an undisclosed sum. The agreement was announced on 5 August 2010. Davis Langdon provides cost and project management services to the property, construction and infrastructure industries in Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States. AECOM Technology Corporation provides global technical and management support services across a broad range of markets, including transportation, energy and water systems.
The transaction involved the parallel sales of Davis Langdon operations in four regions – Australia and New Zealand, Europe and the Middle East, North America and Africa. The transaction is due to complete in October 2010.
Corporate partner Brendan Wykes led the Australian transaction team together with tax partner Tim Sherman who advised on tax matters. Corporate advisory firm Miles provided financial advice to the shareholders of Davis Langdon in Australia and New Zealand.
