Baker & McKenzie Advised CBRE Investors on the Sale of Copernic II

Paris, France, 10 January 2011 – Baker & McKenzie has advised CB Richard Ellis Investors on the direct sale of Copernic II. This real estate development, located in Noisy-le-Grand, has been sold to Opéra Rendement, an SCPI managed by BNP Paribas Reim, with Cardif Assurance Vie (a subsidiary of BNP Paribas Assurance) as its main shareholder.
The office complex, designed by SCAU Macary Delamain and built by Les Nouveaux Constructeurs, was inaugurated last June. It comprises two independent buildings with total space of 30,300 m². Copernic II, with the HQE environmental certification and classified as a Very High Energy Efficiency (THPE) building, is now 85% let, with the following tenants: Employment Agency (Pôle Emploi), Lavazza, Assistance Protection Juridique (GMF Group), Carestream Health France and Nestlé. Copernic II was held by CB Richard Ellis Strategic Partners Europe Fund III, a pan-European investment fund managed by CBRE Investors.
