Palo Alto, USA, July 12, 2012 – Cynthia Jackson has been elected Chair of Baker & McKenzie’s North America Compensation and Employment Law Practice Group. She takes over from Rick Hammett, Chair since 2005, who will serve in the group’s Management Committee and as Managing Partner of the Houston office. Ms. Jackson will assume a position in the Firm’s Global Employment Steering Committee.
Ms. Jackson joined Baker & McKenzie as a Partner in 1999. She has over 30 years of experience working on domestic and international employment counseling and litigation, where she has been consistently recognized as a leader by Chambers USA, Legal 500, Best Lawyers of America, Northern California Super Lawyers

Ms. Jackson will lead a dynamic employment law practice that recently welcomed ERISA litigator James Baker in San Francisco and Compensation and Benefits partner Anne Batter in Washington, DC.
