Baker & McKenzie Amsterdam Appoints Partner and Legal Director

Amsterdam, 3 July 2012 - Baker & McKenzie has appointed Mariëlle Daudt as partner in the Employment Law Practice Group, effective 1 July 2012. This brings the total number of partners in the Netherlands to 35. Also, on 1 July 2012 Murielle Spithoven was appointed legal director in the Employment Law Practice Group.  

Mariëlle Daudt is associated with Baker & McKenzie Amsterdam since 1998. She mainly represents large international companies and top executives. In her practice she focuses on executive appointments and dismissals, compliance and fraud cases, (international) secondment arrangements and restructurings.

Muriëlle Spithoven advises national and multinational companies on collective redundancies and restructuring operations, including (strategic) advice for works councils and trade union issues. She also advises on harmonization of employment conditions and conducts a litigation practice with regard to social plans and individual dismissal cases. Muriëlle Spithoven is associated with Baker & McKenzie Amsterdam since 2005.
