François Gabriel joined Baker & McKenzie in 1985 and was admitted to the Brussels’ bar in the same year. He was made partner in 1993. His areas of practice are General Employment Advice, Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits, Executive Transfer and Employment Litigation. Mr. Gabriel also serves as head of Belgium’s Employment Practice Group of Baker & McKenzie. He is the co-managing partner of the Firm’s Belgium offices since 1999.

Mr. Gabriel's practice covers the full range of Belgian and European employment issues, including collective labor issues, restructuring, acquisitions, disposals and outsourcing, employee severance and terminations. He also advises clients on employment-related litigation and European law matters, including those related to European Works Council.
