Evelyn Romero Avila practices mainly in the area of employment law. Prior to working for the Firm, Ms. Romero has worked as an associate for Brigard & Urrutia Abogados and as legal assistant for Science Applications International Corporation. She likewise served as ad honorem assistant at the Constitutional Court, and was an attorney of the Legal Judicial Office. Ms. Romero has written numerous articles on the Columbian Labor Law published in Legal Review Latin America.

Ms. Romero focuses on advising clients on general labor law, labor procedures, labor agreements, payroll benefits and promotion in collective labor agreements for massive worker terminations. She also handles advisory in workers' transfer, mergers and acquisitions (labor matters), liquidation of companies and quasi-fiscal contributions. Ms. Romero assists clients in labor audits, and provides sound advice on integral social security and occupational health and immigration matters. She represents clients in labor litigation and administrative procedures before labor and immigration authorities.
