Henry Cort is an associate principal in the Firm’s Finance and Projects Practice Group in Singapore. Mr. Cort has worked in London, Singapore and Dubai and is seasoned in all forms of infrastructure development and financing, particularly within the power, water and telecoms sectors. Mr. Cort has been practicing law since 1996 and has advised on construction, operational, development, financing and M&A matters related to infrastructure.
Practice Focus
Mr. Cort advises on corporate finance, project finance, project development, real estate finance, disposals and acquisitions, secured financing and refinancing matters. Mr. Cort’s practice also focuses on the development, construction, financing and sale of international infrastructure and development projects in the Middle East and South East Asia, in particular in the power, water and telecoms sectors. Mr. Cort is adept at helping his clients understand the risks within these sectors, and the means by which debt financiers’ requirements may be met and managed on a non-recourse or partial-recourse basis.
