- Cartels and antitrust investigations - Our practice focuses on defending clients in cartel and other antitrust investigations before the European Commission, national competition authorities and EU courts. Our key strength is fielding experienced Antitrust lawyers across Europe to respond to investigations, conduct internal reviews and coordinate dealings with multiple regulators in Europe or worldwide in conjunction with the Firm’s Global Antitrust Group
- Compliance training, programmes and audits - Our practice provides competition law compliance training, programmes and auditing to clients in all industry sectors. Compliance products include online compliance training that can be customised by language, industry and jurisdiction, and an emergency assistance hotline to respond to onsite investigations
- Distribution, licensing, joint ventures and cooperation agreements - We advise on the application of competition law to commercial agreements, including distribution, licensing, joint ventures and other cooperation agreements
- Internal market, EU regulatory and public affairs - We assist clients in monitoring and seeking to influence EU initiatives. We advise on regulatory matters, including internal market complaints, IT/telecommunications, media, e-commerce, environmental and energy law, and legislative procedures
- State aid and public procurement - Our practice advises clients, including governments, on EU public procurement and state aid matters including the implications of receiving state aid, preferential tax treatment and other types of aid, and challenges to unlawful aid granted to competitors before the European Commission and EU courts
- Litigation in the European courts - We represent clients, including governments, in competition, state aid and EU regulatory litigation before the European courts in Luxembourg
