Baker & McKenzie Announces New Partner: Sean Rush Joins Banking & Finance Practice

Sydney, Australia, 15 September 2011 – Baker & McKenzie is very pleased to welcome Sean Rush to the Firm as a partner in the Firm's Banking & Finance practice.
Sean formerly headed Maddocks banking and finance team in Sydney and returns to Baker & McKenzie where he spent six years in the Firm's Santiago and London offices. He specialises in advising borrowers, sponsors and lenders on leveraged acquisition, corporate and project financing transactions as well as high-value, complex, multi-jurisdictional and cross border financing transactions. Sean is renowned as being a lateral thinker and has been recognised in Australasian Legal Business as a financing expert.
Sean's return to Baker & McKenzie strengthens the Firm’s Banking & Finance practice, expanding the Firm's acquisition finance and project finance capabilities, particularly in relation to major infrastructure projects. He has assisted a number of foreign multinationals with their Australian projects.
