Frank Spizzirri is a partner in the Firm's Corporate and Securities Group in the Toronto office. A prolific writer and speaker, he has spoken and authored articles and papers on various topics ranging from director and officer liabilities, bankruptcy and insolvency, and shareholder activism. Mr. Spizziri has spoken at numerous industry conferences, including those sponsored by the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. He served as chair of the Insolvency Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association and is the executive secretary of the Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Restructuring Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Mr. Spizzirri has been certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in bankruptcy and insolvency.

Mr. Spizzirri’s practice focuses on all aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency, corporate restructurings, as well as distressed acquisitions and financings. He also assists clients in equipment and asset-based lending, debtor-in-possession financing, and provides sound counsel on debtor-creditor rights, director and officer liability, risk management, collections and forensic investigations.
