Arbonia's Condecta Group sold to Paragon Partners
Leading Global Law Firm Baker McKenzie advised building supplier Arbonia AG on the sale of its Industrial Services Division, Condecta Group, to Paragon Partners GmbH, for an undisclosed amount. The purchase agreement for transfer of 100% of the share capital was signed on November 13, 2017, with closing also planned for 2017.
Arbonia is a Switzerland-based building supply company. It operates through Building Technology, Windows, Doors, and Industrial Services divisions. The Company is active in more than 70 countries across the world and is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. Its main production sites are located in Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Italy.
Arbonia says that this sale will ensure a stable future for the Condecta Group, which they had previously acquired in context of the public takeover of Looser Holding AG.
A cross-border team from Baker McKenzie's Zurich, Milan and Munich offices advised Arbonia AG, with a team led by Alexander Fischer, and assisted by Muriel Pasche, Matthias Trautmann, Merens Derungs, Alessandra Fabri, Mario Cigno, Gerald Schumann and Hanna Luetkens (corporate); Samuel Marbacher (real estate); and Boris Wenger (anti-trust).
Paragon Partners is an independent private equity company, which invests primarily in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. They invest in established, mid-sized companies with significant operational value creation potential.
