Baker McKenzie successfully advised Moelis Advisory as underwriter in the IPO of Windlab
Baker McKenzie's Sydney office successfully acted for Moelis Advisory Australia, in its role as sole lead manager and underwriter to the initial public offering of new fully paid shares in Windlab, and the sale by Windlab SaleCo of existing shares in Windlab. Windlab is seeking to raise AUD$50 million under the offer.
Windlab is a global renewable energy development company. It was established to commercialise world leading atmospheric modelling and wind energy assessment technology, developed by Australia’s CSIRO. Windlab develops, finances, constructs and operates high quality wind farms around the world. The company currently has 48 projects in the field.

The Offer is an initial public offering of 25,000,000 Shares in the Company at an Offer Price of $2.00 per share raising gross proceeds of $50 million.
Windlab is offering to issue 12,500,000 new shares to raise $25 million and Windlab SaleCo Limited is offering to transfer 12,500,000 existing shares to raise approximately $25 million.
