Launch of Chinese, Korean and Japanese Characters ".asia" Domain Names

The registration of Chinese, Korean and Japanese characters ".asia" domain names (CKJ Domains) will be available from 11 May 2011.
Governmental bodies, registered trade mark owners, registered companies or organizations in the DotAsia community (DotAsia Community) are given priority to register the domain names of interest during the first phase (Sunrise phase). Local presence is required for all ".asia" registrations. At least one of the associated domain contacts must be a legal entity in one of the 73 countries or economies in the DotAsia Community. The Sunrise phase will start on 11 May 2011 and ends on 20 July 2011.
