Currently, we act for commercial banks, merchant and investment banks, and other financial institutions as well as for corporate users of credit in all types of banking and finance transactions. These include pre-export financing for Ukrainian manufacturers, the financing of hotel construction, the financing and delivery of river and sea vessels, the financing of the delivery of aircraft to Ukrainian airlines and, more generally, the extension of foreign credits to Ukrainian municipal authorities, banks (both state-owned and private), and enterprises, as well as the provision of state guarantees. Our experience extends beyond the usual local law issues arising in connection with the obtaining of foreign loans and credits. For example, we have advised on the taking of various types of collateral in Ukraine, as well as on the recognition and enforcement in Ukraine of security interests granted under foreign governing law agreements.
