Most of the amendments took effect on 1 February 2012.		Australia to cut withholding tax for Clean Building MITs On 16 August 2012, the Government issued draft legislation to reduce the final withholding tax rate from 15% to 10% for MITs that only hold newly constructed green buildings.		Final EMIR technical standards On 23 February 2013, six key EMIR regulatory technical standards were published in the Official Journal. The technical standards will enter into force on 15 March 2013 and this will be a very significant date for users of OTC derivatives.
