Stewart Kasner has extensive experience in advising domestic and foreign clients on their global wealth management as well as international tax, trust, and estate planning. Mr. Kasner is Board Certified in Tax Law by the Florida Bar. He is recognized as a leading tax adviser by Chambers USA and was recently added to the Citywealth Leaders List as a top international wealth advisor. Mr. Kasner is consistently recognized in Best Lawyers in America, Florida Super Lawyers and Euromoney’s Guide to the World's Leading Trusts & Estates Practitioners. Prior to joining the Firm, he was a partner at a boutique law firm in Coral Gables, Florida, where he provided tax advice to ultra high net-worth individuals on their inbound and outbound activities. Mr. Kasner began his career in the Miami office of a New York-based national law firm, where he advised on domestic taxation matters.
Practice Focus
Mr. Kasner routinely advises foreign and domestic clients on their cross-border investments, including real estate investments and business activities. His practice also includes forming and overseeing complex international corporate and trust structures, as well as implementing international reorganizations. Mr. Kasner drafts offshore trust instruments and advises on US fiscal information reporting, voluntary disclosures, and withholding tax compliance. He also assists in the development of US offshore, tax compliant private placement life insurance and annuity contracts.
