Sarah L. Harris mainly handles corporate and securities matters. She is actively involved in various pro bono programs initiated by the Firm, including Girl Talk, New Moms and Chicago 2016. Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie, Ms. Harris served as vice president and general counsel of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club and was an associate at Mayer Brown LLP. She is a member of the National Bar Association, the Cook County Bar Association and the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms.
Ms. Harris routinely works on private equity fund formation, with emphasis on real estate and fund of funds. Her experience also includes working on domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, public and private securities offerings, securities law compliance, corporate governance, contract review and general corporate matters.
