Remke Scheepstra joined Baker & McKenzie as an associate in 2000, and has since been part of the Firm’s Amsterdam Labor Law practice group. She is also a member of the firm’s European Labor Practice Group. She has authored or co-authored several articles on labor and privacy issues.
Practice Focus
Remke Scheepstra’s practice covers the full range of labor law matters, both contentious and non-contentious. She mainly advises on Labour Law and Dutch Privacy Law. She focuses particularly on collective employee dismissals, (European) works councils, outsourcing projects, employment terminations, including managing directors, employment and commission contracts. Ms. Scheepstra also advises on employment-related privacy matters, such as e-mail and Internet policies, as well as general issues regarding the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act.
