Pierfrancesco Federici serves as managing partner of the Firm's Italy offices. He also heads the local Regulatory Practice group and is a member of the Environmental, Regulatory & Planning European Practice Group Steering Committee. He has extensive transactional and regulatory experience in the chemical, real estate, pharmaceutical and gaming industries. Mr. Federici has authored articles on environmental regulations in various publications — including the International Financial Law Review — and has written on international commercial law issues for Commercio Internazionale. He is also a frequent panelist in seminars on environmental law and pharmaceutical law.

Practice Focus

Mr. Federici’s practice focuses on the areas of environmental law, pharmaceutical law, public procurement, contracts and corporate law. He also advises on real estate, hotels and resorts management projects, as well as gaming procurement projects. He is seasoned in land remediation and requalification, remediation planning, industrial compliance, property transactional negotiation and management, commercial leases and retail. He also handles regulatory counseling, clinical trials contracting, medical devices counseling, promotion and sponsorship, products licensing, codes of conduct and compliance, telemedicine and pharma-related IP assistance. In addition, Mr. Federici has significant experience on M&A and corporate law. His client base includes domestic and foreign-based multinational groups primarily in the chemical, pharmaceutical, gaming, computer and testing sectors.
