Kosuke Yatabe is a member of the Firm’s Capital Markets group in Tokyo, and has over five years of legal experience in Japan. His work encompasses advice on general finance matters as well as regulation of financial institutions. Mr. Yatabe also serves as a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association.

Practice Focus

Mr. Yatabe has a wide range of experience in financial matters. In the area of capital markets, he has provided advice and prepared documentation regarding cross-border securities transactions, IPOs, incentive plans and corporate finance. Concerning M&A matters, he has provided advice and prepared documentation in connection with restructuring of corporation, REIT and TOB. As for structured finance matters, he has handled the liquidation of real estate assets and bonds as counsel for both lenders and borrowers. He is also experienced in fund matters of LPS and foreign investment corporations.
