Kazakhstan transfers financial regulatory powers to National Bank In a move to enhance its financial regulatory system, Kazakhstan has abolished two independent financial and securities regulatory bodies and consolidated their powers and functions under the National Bank of Kazakhstan.		Uzbekistan to join the Apostille Convention Uzbekistan has adopted a law preparing the country for accession to the Apostille Convention. Signing the international treaty, which allows foreign public documents to be certified in signatory countries, is expected to benefit foreign investors entering Uzbekistan by saving them time and effort usually spent on legalizing documents.		Kazakhstan allows early presidential elections Following disagreements regarding a proposal to extend the president’s term of office, Kazakhstan has amended its constitution to allow presidential elections to be held in April 2011 instead of December 2012.
