Dispute Resolution in Japan

Recognized for the strength of our dispute practices, our Tokyo Dispute Resolution Group offers a wealth of experience in venues throughout the world. We have established an experienced and integrated team of Japanese and foreign lawyers dedicated to dispute resolution. We handle all aspects of various dispute resolution measures, including domestic and cross-border litigation and international commercial arbitration. We are also adept in handling other alternative dispute resolution measures such as insolvency filing and creditors’ rights protection and regulatory compliance issues concerned with FCPA and fraud investigations.

We address disputes in practice areas such as antitrust and competition, financial products, corporate transactions, intellectual properties and tax, and represent clients in various fields such as aviation, banking and finance, consumer products, construction and plant engineering, hotels and resorts, software development and system engineering, medical and pharmaceutical.
