Biography

Helen Mantel advises clients on complex cross-border transactions and counsels companies across a variety of industries on the management of their global operations. Prior to joining the Chicago office, Helen worked in the Firm’s London and Moscow offices. Helen is Chambers ranked.

Helen is a member of the Firm's Transactional Steering Committee, M&A Steering Committee and Global Reorganizations Steering Committee. She is a member of the North American Inclusion & Diversity Committee and Co-Chair of the Chicago Office Inclusion & Diversity Committee.

Practice Focus

Helen advises on complex multijurisdictional mergers and acquisitions, spin offs, carve outs and joint ventures. She leads post-acquisition integrations, corporate reorganizations, legal entity rationalizations and other complex projects in collaboration with tax teams. She counsels companies on the structuring and implementation of their overseas expansion and the ongoing management of their global operations, including supply chain considerations.
