Heico Reinoud is an experienced tax lawyer with the Firm’s Amsterdam office. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors (Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs) and the Dutch branch of the International Fiscal Association. In addition to his practice, Mr. Reinoud regularly publishes articles related to corporate tax law.

Practice Focus

Mr. Reinoud has extensive experience in Dutch and Luxembourg corporate tax law and international tax law. Acting for multinational companies, private equity and real estate funds, Mr. Reinoud’s tax practice covers investment structures, mergers and acquisitions, real estate taxation and acquisition financing.

Representative Legal Matters

• Developing and implementing supply chain restructurings for US listed multinationals active in, amongst others, the computer hardware and pharmaceutical industries.
• Developing and implementing a pan-European sales structure for a US-based multinational active in the e-commerce business.
• Advising on and implementing various IP structures involving the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
• Advising on and implementing group holding and financing structures for Guernsey, Jersey, and Isle of Man companies listed on the London stock exchange.
• Advising on and implementing a cross-border lease structure for a French listed multinational active in the energy industry.
• Involvement in various acquisition and financing structures related to Dutch, German, French, Spanish and UK real estate (including thin capitalization, interest and dividend withholding tax issues, real estate transfer tax, VAT and capital duty planning).
