Grace Shie leads the Global Immigration & Mobility practice for Greater China. She manages a team of professionals in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Taipei, and advises multinational clients on business immigration requirements for moving expatriate workers across Greater China. Ms. Shie previously practiced in the United States, where she advised clients on US and global immigration issues. She has significant experience advising major corporations on compliance and succession issues and providing client trainings on topics ranging from best practices in managing an international workforce to worksite enforcement.

Practice Focus

Ms. Shie counsels multinational corporations on the movement of personnel across the globe, with focus on the assignment of expatriates to Greater China. She advises clients on the use of available work permit and visa categories to meet hiring and training needs in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Ms. Shie's practice includes a focus on the global mobility needs of major multinational corporations across a variety of industries. She serves as a regional manager for Asia-Pacific matters for clients with global migration and mobility needs. Ms. Shie also counsels individual clients on investment visa options and related citizenship and residency issues.
