Optimized tax structures are of crucial importance for economic success. Due to the increasing cross-border interconnection of business enterprises, international tax competition becomes all the more significant. This leads to further organizational requirements with respect to international tax planning. That is where the Baker & McKenzie Tax Practice Group comes in.
Our practice group has approximately 20 members who advise clients in Germany and abroad in all tax and accounting law issues. Most of the group members are also tax counselors, lawyers who focus on the area of tax law and/or certified public accountants.
We advise clients on tax structuring, tax planning and drafting expert opinions on legal issues, assist with tax audits and represent client interests in and out of tax courts.
