Fred C. De Hosson is listed as a leading tax lawyer by top legal directories, including The European Legal 500, Guide to the World’s Leading Tax Advisors, IFLR 1000 and Chambers Global. He has extensive experience in corporate restructuring and M&A, and has represented clients in major litigation and competent authority cases involving transfer pricing, tax treaty and European law issues. Mr. De Hosson is a member of the International Fiscal Association and board member of the Society for Commercial Law (Vereeniging Handelsrecht). He is also the managing partner of Baker & McKenzie's Amsterdam office.

Practice Focus

Mr. De Hosson routinely handles transfer pricing arrangements for both Netherlands and multinational companies in the food, pharmaceuticals, software, tobacco, dredging, oil and gas, retail and electronic data storage industries. In addition to his practice, Mr. De Hosson has written extensively on international and European tax issues, is editor-in-chief of Intertax, and serves as a member of the EC Tax Review editorial board.
