European Commission has approved state aid to DELL

Last week, the European Commission approved a state aid package to Dell Products Poland after more than two years' long proceedings conducted by our Firm. The case was extremely complex as, due to Dell's high market share, the Commission decided to open a so-called formal investigation procedure during which state aid is meticulously analysed. It is worth tressing that this was the first time the European Commission launched a formal investigation into regional aid plan pursuant to the new guidelines. Our success is therefore even more enjoyable as the case was an absolute precedence not only in Poland but also in the entire Union. The case was handled by Marcin Gmaj, Łukasz Karpiesiuk and Justyna Kaczmarczyk.
