Eric Boone is a partner based in the Sydney office of Baker & McKenzie. Eric handles corporate finance work with a focus on US securities offerings. He has represented issuers, underwriters, placement agents, institutional investors and selling shareholders in numerous offerings of debt and hybrid securities. Eric also regularly advises lenders, borrowers and guarantors on bank finance transactions.

Eric’s experience includes Rule 144A transactions, traditional private placements and SEC-registered public offerings. He also has significant experience in banking transactions with emphasis on syndicated loan transactions.

- Advising a major finance company on its traditional private placement of USD100 million of secured notes.
- Advising on a Rule 144A offering of USD460 million of convertible senior notes with registration rights.
- Advising the agents on the establishment and update of a USD300 million medium-term note program for a real estate investment trust.
- Advising the underwriters on six public offerings of senior unsecured notes by a major real estate investment trust.
