We have also been involved in structuring ground-breaking derivatives transactions – such as the first structured finance transaction using carbon credits under the Kyoto Protocol as assets in tranched pools – with our Environmental Markets practice.

In addition to our transactional activities, our regulatory practice advises banks and other financial institutions with respect to the implementation of and adherence to compliance programs, ensuring that Baker & McKenzie is a key player in the provision of legal advice within the Australian and global financial markets.
