Dr. Anne-Catherine Hahn has been a member of the Firm's dispute resolution and commercial law practice groups since 2004. Dr. Hahn serves as part-time lecturer at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, and has authored a number of articles and book chapters on topics of commercial law and dispute resolution.
Practice Focus
Dr. Hahn focuses on international commercial arbitration, commercial litigation and non-contentious commercial matters. She represents international and domestic clients in disputes before international arbitral tribunals and state courts in Switzerland, including in enforcement matters. She also regularly advises clients on manufacturing and supply structures, agency and distribution structures, as well as outsourcing projects and collaboration agreements with a particular focus on the life science and manufacturing sectors.

Acted as sole arbitrator under the Swiss Rules of Arbitration in a dispute over the sale of commodities.

Acted for Swiss listed companies in two arbitration proceedings under the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration over post-M&A disputes in the pharmaceutical and in the travel sectors.

Provided advice and defended a Swiss company in proceedings over a comfort letter issued to a subsidiary and coordinated parallel litigation in Switzerland, France and Germany.

Acted as secretary to arbitral tribunals (ICC and Swiss Rules of International Arbitration) in disputes over distribution agreements.

Provided advice on the possibility of and modalities for claiming damages for competition law violations under Swiss law in relation with an international price-fixing cartel.
