Amendments to the Russian Franchise Legislation Balance Interests and Obligations of the Parties of a Franchise Agreement

On 18 July 2011, the President of the Russian Federation signed into law the amendments to the Russian franchise legislation, namely, Federal Law No. 216-FZ On Amendments to Part II of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation (the Law on Amendments).
The Law on Amendments became effective on 21 October 2011.
