The Conference of Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Meeting of Parties (CMP) to the Kyoto Protocol are convened annually between the months of November and December. This year marks the 17th COP and 7th CMP, which will take place in Durban, South Africa from 28 November to 9 December 2011.
